A charter member of the National Trust Historic Hotels of America, the Inn has limited availability. Make your reservations early. Complimentary wireless internet access is available.

Kings Courtyard Inn  B&B/Inn
198 King Street originally opened its doors in 1853. Its street level arcades boasted some of the city's most fashionable shops, while its tradition of hospitality began on the upper floors where a popular inn catered to plantation owners, shipping magnates and merchant guests. Now restored with historical and architectural accuracy, this charter member of National Trust Historic hotels of America is a casual, comfortable, distinctive retreat.

In-room refrigerators are stocked with complimentary refreshments and every evening guests are invited to the Lodge for a wine and hors d'oeuvre reception. A full breakfast is served daily in the dining room. Guests interact with trained naturalists, who provide daily tours and lectures that bring to life the plantation's natural environment. Handcrafted furniture, wide plantation shutters, and braided rugs evoke a feeling of the past while warm, cypress paneling, wood-burning fireplaces and 150-gallon baths add to the ambiance. Dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows bring into every room the views of area woodlands and the winding Ashley River.
